Every time work changes hands,
knowledge leaks.

Someone leaves, joins, gets promoted, a team reorganises, and no system catches what they knew. biowissen is building the platform that runs handovers properly, and turns a thousand handovers into lasting organisational memory.

The problem

Handovers are universal, dreaded, and unmanaged.

Work changes hands constantly: a resignation, a promotion, a territory split, a new hire, a reorg. Every time, the relationships, the judgment, and the reasons behind the data leak out, and nothing catches them. The cost stays invisible until a quarter goes soft or a new hire flounders for two of them.

Every knowledge tool before this failed for the same reason: it asked people to maintain a wiki nobody reads. Knowledge that has to be kept current never is.

The approach

A guided handover, run by a quartermaster.

biowissen captures knowledge in the only window when the knowledge is still in the room and the manager still has the leverage to extract it, through a guided process. A single handover is useful. A thousand handovers, across every role, is an organisational memory: knowledge that compounds instead of decaying.

Capture

Guided, not blank-page

The quartermaster takes the outgoing person through structured sessions. It asks; they answer.

Score

Quality you can see

Every handover is scored for quality, so gaps are visible before the person leaves. Not after.

Verify

More than one person

The manager and the team contribute and verify, so it does not depend on a single, cooperative exit.

Deliver

In each role's view

It reaches whoever needs it: in their own view, when they need it, not as a pile of documents.

What exists today

Real, and available now.

We start with sales, because that is where the loss is loudest and easiest to count. This is the proof the approach works. Not a promise.

handedover · the sales flagship

The quartermaster for sales handovers.

When a rep changes hands, handedover runs the handover, scores it, and walks the new rep in: with who really decides, why each deal sits where it does, and what not to step on. For B2B SaaS sales teams.

And the custom handover builder. Any function, customer success, solutions engineering, operations, can build its own handover module in a few minutes, then reuse it across the organisation. Sales is the depth; the builder is the open door for everyone else. Both are real today.

The platform — emerging

A module for every kind of handover.

From sales, the same engine extends to a platform of handover modules: each a proper, guided handover for that kind of transition. This is the near roadmap, not today's product.

The vision — the long horizon

Every handover becomes organisational memory.

As modules run across many roles and transitions, the captured, verified, quality-scored knowledge accumulates into a knowledge graph: accessible to people, and through MCP, to AI agents. The more transitions biowissen runs, the more complete the picture: knowledge that compounds instead of decaying.

That is where this goes. We would rather tell you the destination plainly than be vague about it. It is not built yet, and we will never describe it as if it were. Today, the proof is handedover.

A note from the founder

I spent nearly my whole career in B2B sales, and seven years helping scale Celonis from 100 to 3,000 people in the Process Intelligence category.

Process intelligence mapped how work flows through systems. Up close, you also see the part no system was ever built to reach: the relationships, the judgment, the reasons behind the data. And you watch it walk out the door every time someone good changes seats.

biowissen is built for that part.

handedover is the first product. There will be more.
